Does this sound like you?  Wandering over vast areas, hunched over, looking for treasures on the ground below your feet...and finding lots of them...  Now what!  Well, after you fill every pocket of your pants, and shirt, and have so many rocks in both hands that a sneeze will send them flying everywhere...you realize that the car is a mile behind you!  An easy and inexpensive solution is as close as your local hardware shop:  The Contractor's Tool BeltThey're made to handle a lot of weight comfortably, have plenty of pockets that will carry at least 25 pounds of various sized rocks, and fit over virtually all clothing.  Many also have a sturdy metal ring that's just the right size for your favorite rock hammer.  I have a Husky 10 pocket belt, purchased at the Everett Home Depot, and have used it in virtually all collecting locations.  It has become an indispensable part of my field gear.
