From Don Wilcox:
Departure Time: 6:30 Sharp (6 AM) if I can get all attendees to agree.
Route: 228 miles from Lynnwood to Riverside Washington (4 hours and 3 minutes) We will leave the Lynnwood Target and drive to the grocery store parking lot in Riverside, WA(right side before the bridge) to meet Jim, the mine owner, by 11 AM. Some of the members from the Chief Joseph Rock and Gem Club will be there as well. Jim will lead us 15 minutes to the mine. He will have most of the equipment needed (hammers, chisel, etc..) It may be a good idea to bring our own, as well as gloves.
For cars traveling as a group from Target, two-way radios and contact cell numbers are encouraged.
Jim’s contact information is: 509-826-4940 (Make sure to tell him you ate with the Maplewood Club) Don Wilcox (trip leader contact information: 206-226-1868 (cell)
