The Maplewood Rock and Gem Club comes together every 3rd Monday of the month, all year long! Join us to share your love of rocks, gems, and good company.

Our Juniors Meeting brings young rock and fossil lovers together for hands-on fun and discovery. Each gathering is designed to ignite curiosity and help kids explore the amazing world of geology in an engaging, friendly environment.

Located in beautiful Edmonds, WA, we are one of the oldest rock and gem clubs in the Puget Sound area, active since being established in 1951. Maplewood Rock and Gem Club is a non-profit 501(c)(7) organization.
Our mission is to encourage the exploration and appreciation of the solid earth sciences including geology, fossils, minerals and gems.

To encourage lapidary artists from the novice to the “expert”
Access to the Lapidary Shop
The club maintains a small lapidary shop for the use of members only. Five slab saws, three CabKing™ units for cutting cabochons and two trim saws are available.
The lapidary shop is open on the first and third Wednesdays and the second, fourth (and if there is a fifth) Thursdays When it’s open we have two sessions:
3 – 5:30 pm and 5:30 – 8 pm.
To use the shop you need to sign up ahead of time.
